close Another 6 changes to the team!
Has someone stepped on a black cat...
The boys travelled out to Ross & Trevor for a top of the table clash in pristine conditions. With cartons owed from a couple of late arrivals nerves were at a high from all quarters.
The match started with a couple of new faces (Ali Ba Barr and Tugga Waugh) laying bigger tackles than a front row forward.
The first quarter was fairly even with the Children holding a slender lead.
As the game settled down through the 2nd and 3rd quarter, the Children gained control of the stoppages, and moved the ball with speed and skill.
Like the previous couple of weeks, the Children built a 5-6 goal lead half way through the 3rd quarter, only to let it slip with some'easy' decisions and handling skills.
However, to their credit, as has been each week to date, the Children listened to each other, focused, and delivered a great final quarter to run out 3 goals winners against a quality opposition.
Special mention to:
- Crouching Tiger for helping out, and playing a key role up forward
- Paddy Dolan for his first 1R game in 2018
- Les and Stuart Harris for a late call up
- Tugga and Ali Ba Barr, who showed they deserved their spot and an ongoing role.

BOG was the co-captain Matty Allan, who stopped numerous Ross & Trevor forward entries and marshalled the troops in a massive game.

Another big game to follow the bye...PAC...who set the benchmark last year.
